Spice Jet has made an offer of operating a direct early morning flights between the route of Nagpur-Chennai, Nagpur-Hyderabad and Nagpur-Ahmedabad from Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar International Airport by the end of the year. The airline plans to operate its new generation Boeing 737-800 (189 seater) aircraft on this route. The air fare charged on the particular route would be Rs 2,585.
The schedule of flights to and from Nagpur to New Delhi and Bangalore is as following: - flight from Nagpur to Delhi will depart at 8.35 p.m. and reach New Delhi at 10.10 p.m. Nagpur to Bangalore flight will depart at 9.10 a.m. and reach Bangalore at 11 a.m. On the other hand the Delhi-Nagpur flight will depart at 7 a.m. and reach Nagpur at 8.40 a.m., where as the Bangalore-Nagpur flight will depart at 6.20 p.m. and reach Nagpur at 8.05 p.m.
The efficient effort made by Spice Jet to start flights to Chennai and Ahmedabad would help connecting Nagpur City directly with the major cities for the first time. The airline has already initiated its services of flights from Nagpur to Bangalore and Delhi.
