Tourist Visa Requirements to India

India the land of multiplicity is known to be an admired tourist destination. People from across the globe pay a visit to this beautiful country of rich culture and heritage. Every state of the country has its own regional language, traditional clothing and an exotic cuisine due to which India is popularly known by the fact that it has unity in diversity.
For those you want to travel to this mixed land the first and foremost requirement is a tourist visa which has various formalities mentioned below.

. A valid passport having a validity of minimum six months.
. Completely filled and duly signed visa application form along with the visa fees.
. A letter of recommendation showing your relation with the country either from your family members or if you do not have a relationship in the country the hotel you would be staying with can also provide you with a sponsor letter.
. Proof of return journey or itinerary.
. Photocopy of address proof matching with the address mentioned on the Visa application. Please make a note that only Government issued ids like Voter’s ID or Drivers license is accepted. Other than this water, electricity and gas bills can be submitted. In case of minors, parent or guardians proof of address is required.
. Birth certificate or a school diploma is required.

One should also be informed that the tourist visa is provided for a maximum period of six months that is 180 days and a gap of minimum two months is required between separate visits.
